Patients who were scheduled to receive the J&J vaccine at UNC Health vaccination clinics today will be offered one of the other vaccines where possible or rescheduled as necessary. UNC Health always makes the safety of our patients our top priority and will evaluate new data as it becomes available.
To date, there have been no adverse reactions to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at UNC Health. Additional information for patients can be found here.
